Meet Azuki

Hi, I'm Azuki - wanderer, storyteller, and your travel companion behind the screen.

I'm a tech consultant turned travel creator with a suitcase full of dreams and a lifelong love for red bean (azuki). What started as a way to document my journeys has grown into Wandering Azuki - a space where I share stories, reflections, and experiences from the road, especially through the lens of an East Asian, Female traveller.

I think my ultimate dream is to one day complete my ever-growing bucket list to finally go on my first true solo trip. That's a big part of why I started Wandering Azuki: to build a community for people like me, who are figuring things out as we go, challenging ourselves to try new things, and gently growing the courage to explore the world (and ourselves) at our own pace.​

You should also know - I'm a cruiser at heart. There's just something about being at sea, away from the noise, surrounded by blue and possibility, that makes me feel most at peace. Cruises are my happy place: a mix of comfort, curiosity, and total presence. I'd love to one day recreate that same feeling through my own travel experiences and offerings.

But wandering to me isn't just about physical travel - it's also about internal exploration. Whether that means rethinking your lifestyle, prioritising well-being, or learning to be more present, this space holds room for all kinds of journeys. I'm here for the detour, the deep reflections, the little joys, and the honest conversations.

Confession time: I’m not exactly a pro photographer — my photos might be a little blurry, a little imperfect… but that doesn’t stop me from proudly watermarking them anyway! 😅 I’m learning and improving with every snap, so thanks for bearing with me on this visual adventure.

When I'm not writing or recording, I'm probably sipping bubble tea, planning the next Azuki Tale, or working on my vision of a travel app that makes exploring easier and more intuitive.
